NileDutch - carrying cargo to West Africa for over 25 years

West Africa Feeder

Not each and every port can be served efficiently with long haul deepsea vessels. Yet, we see it as our duty to offer our customers safe arrival at the smaller destinations as well.

As such, NileDutch operates a dedicated feeder service between our Pointe Noire hub - on the schedule of all our deepsea operations - and Matadi, Boma, Banana (Congo DR), as well as Cabinda and Soyo in Angola. At the two Angolan ports, ships usually have to work on the roads, involving additional risky barge handlings. However, the heavy-lift Ro-Ro we deploy can moor alongside the quay, thereby ensuring safe cargo operations.

Matadi, situated along the Congo River, some 75 nautical miles upstream from the country´s Atlantic port of Banana, is the Democratic Republic of the Congo´s principal port.

Since 2004, we have been one of the very few international operators to actually serve it.

Cargo volumes are gradually growing and so is NileDutch with it.
