Continuation of the East Coast South America Service (SA1)
We wish to inform the trade that NileDutch will continue the SA1 service to South Africa and West Africa.
NileDutch was the first to operate a liner service between South America and West Africa 20 years ago, and we remain committed to serving our loyal customers.
Together with our partners we will offer a bi-weekly frequency as from 28 June. Till then there will be a call every 3 weeks.
The standard ports of call are Paranagua, Itajai, Santos, Durban and Luanda. The last port will be used as transshipment hub to our other destinations in West Africa, including Lobito, Namibe, Cabinda, Pointe Noire, Matadi, Libreville, Sao Tome and Kribi.
NileDutch will operate 2 vessels: Polonia and Lodur (3.100 TEU, geared), and Hapag Lloyd will include the Northern Democrat (3.500 TEU, gearless).
Cargo from Cape Town to West Africa will be shipped through the FA1/FEWA service.
